Within these pages, you will find many things you may have wanted to know about various operating systems and software...things you already knew, or things you could care less about. My goal is to provide the information that I know of to make the OS run as efficient and perfectly as possible, however hard that may be. The stuff found within these pages are of from my own personal collection of information I have gathered over the years. Information found within this page have been partly taken from Internet sources, The Cobb Group, and my own personal experience on tweaking the resiliant Operating System. I take no responsibility for any tweaks YOU do on your computer. What you do is your fault. I merely make a few suggestions. But, on the same token, if you follow directions correctly, you should not encounter any serious problems (If you don't do backups, now is the time to start). So, if you know how to follow directions, go on...if not, move on.
"Normal people ... believe that if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Engineers believe that if it ain't broke, it doesn't have enough features yet." S. Adams, The Dilbert Principle |
